I teach piano, songwriting techniques, composing for film & TV, harmony, theory, composition, improvisation, & home recording. I have 35 years of professional experience in all the above. I've learned so much. A wealth of knowledge, which I love passing on to others.
Of all the things I've done in music (which is a lot), the most challenging and rewarding is teaching. I love working with kids, and also teach adults
and music professionals. I've helped a lot of songwriters & composers out of creative ruts, and discover new possibilities, which are endless.
Everything I know, musically, has been proven "on the job" on Major Label Recordings, Feature films & Network TV. I tailor lessons to each student's goals and needs. No two are alike. Every student has musical potential and I can help guide, nurture and expand it. Each student is special to me.
