This top-notch, classy and thoroughly original reworking of familiar melodies with new lyrics heralds a planet safe-and-sound for now and for future generations. Greenfield and a team of skilled singers and musicians put forth their green mission with tuneful messages about global warming, pollution and environmental awareness. While most tracks are utterly relaxing jazz numbers, there are some really cool wild cards in this deck. For example, “This Green Man” is a highlight that reworks “This Old Man” with a combination of accordion and Indian bhangra-style drumming.
